Tasting Notes
Ripe plums and baked cherry tomatoes with clove, star anise and fresh herbs on the nose. Palate echoed the nose. Rich fruits but with sufficient acidity to carry the big and rounded structure. More black peppers emerged in the full-bodied mid-palate. Nice transition to a deep and spicy finish. Overall very much reflecting the aging potential of old Shiraz vines from the McLean Vale.
