Tasting Notes
This 100% Shiraz, from three vineyards aged 109, 127, and 152 years, spent two years in a combination of new and old French and American oak. It offers up lovely aromas of blackberries, white flowers, graphite, and white chocolate. This rich, full-bodied, layered, powerful (14.5% alcohol) Shiraz cascades over the palate with great intensity, yet remains light on its feet. Possessing sweet tannin, with loads of richness and extract, it should evolve for 15-20 years.
